Yes, try to capture him or ask a wildlife rehabilitation specialist to help capture him. He is not going to be able to survive in the wild if he has a deformity. A predator will eventually kill him or he will succumb to the elements. Get the swan to a wildlife rehabilitation center or an avian veterinarian to see if they can do something for him. You might try to contact the Kellog Center at Eastern Michigan University as they have swan specialists.
