Thanks for your reply. He came with DNA paperwork, so I'm pretty sure of his sex. You're correct, there's a lot to consider if you have a breeding pair. I don't need a permit in my state, as I am not "open to the public" ie: a park, golf course, hotel etc... A male companion would be the best in my situation. He will ""puff up" at strange people and put on territorial displays, but I haven't seen him do it with the geese as yet....odd \-|">
