In Response To: Swans hiding in tall grass in pond (Judy)

i live on a pond in Canton MA with two side coves. We have had a pair of swan here for 3 years. One set of swans basically live on my side cove. They had baby and all died. There was 2 pairs and two random swans fighting in the large part of the pond. And since then the pair that live on our side of the pond have been hiding in the tall grass in the our cove day & night. At times they are motionless.

Can you tell me what could be happening. I'm worried they are dieting.
