In Response To: Single Swan (Marilyn)

Two swans appeared, as they normally do, at the end of February. They were together in a small salt water lake across the street. However, I now only see one and s/he is milling around the cove behind my building. What happened to the other swan? Should I be concerned or is it possibly nesting somewhere?
