In Response To: Juvenile swan rejected? (Joe)

We have a juvenile mute that no longer associates with its parents or siblings even though they are nearby. Has it been rejected or has it rejected its family? It stays separated in odd places. It is now snowing here and we wonder if the is anything we can do to insure its survival. The lake is about 150 acres in size. We have been on this lake for 13 years and have never seen more than 2 families of swans here.
