In Response To: Male Black Swan very aggressive this year (Tricia)

We have a pair of black australian swans in our spring fed pond that are fenced in wings pinioned. The male is about 3 years old and the female is about 7 years old. This spring the male tries to attack us when we go down to feed the corn etc. Are they normally this aggressive. We have a pair of mutes in about an acre size pond near this one which is also fenced and they are separated the female mute is on nest could this cause the black male to be aggressive?
We have never had this problem with them before.
Any suggestions or should we just get rid of the black ones?
