Thanks so much for the info. We are now down to 3 cygnets and I have someone near us who would like to adopt a couple of them. At what age should/can they be taken from their parents? Then if we kept one and had the wings pinioned, would it stay? In years past I know there we at least 2 other pairs that lived on our lakes. The current pair is fed by one of the homeowners on the lake. Any suggestions would be of great help!
