Know anything about Snow Geese, the 'blue' ones? This morning I very briefly got a glimpse of two birds who flew over my head and landed on the side lawn of home near me in the Gulf of Mexico. They had the bulk of a pelican but there was the distinct impression of dark black body with white heads/neck. My viewing time was limited to a couple of glimpses. I am wondering if migration patterns are changing or if someone let a bunch of 'pets' loose. No photos this time.
