I have an office building with a lake upon which the previous owners installed two swans (appear to be mute). They are about 7 years old. The female just passed away and we are left with a lone male. We would like to find him a new mate. Since they mate for life, I have no idea how easy or tricky this can be and would appreciate some recommendations about where to find his new lady and how to bring the two together.

The female swan is at the vet still and we are bringing her back today so that he can know that she has passed. I was just going to lay her out for him and then we are going to bury her.

Very sad.
