We have same Papa & Mama swan in our small salt water lagoon for many years. I was thrilled when the showed up a couple of weeks ago with 6 beautiful babies. I took a number of great digital photos for the record. We have had terrible rain storms here on Long Island for the past weeks and today they came by with only one baby left! I am so upset!

What kills them here where we have Reynolds Channel running out to Jones Inlet and a large marshy area for nesting?
