Hi Deb:

We are not sure about your country's law regarding dead swans. However, knowing that is a protected bird in your country, you might want to contact your local RSPCA or police and notify them of the dead bird. Leaving the bird near a roadside can cause an influx of vultures which could prove dangerous to motorists if they have to brake suddenly to miss a flock of vultures. The Regal Swan
