I visit a local pond which is stocked by the homeowners with a swan family - a female and a set of remaining offspring. One of them has apparently become snagged by some nylon rope around one of his legs, and is also loosely wrapped around his neck. We were able to cut some of the cord off, but he is very agitated by it, trying to pick it off his neck. His leg seems to be just hanging. We need to get the rest of the cord off, but are unable to corral him. Any advice?
