There are many possibilities as to why the young cygnet cannot keep up with the family or is being shunned. We would strongly suggest that you contact the RSPCA or Wendy Hermon at (wendyhermon@btinternet.com). They can help effect a capture and get the bird to a swan rehabilitation center for exam and/or treatment. The Regal Swan
