If not, are the swans friendly enough that you might be able to catch them and take them indoors for a couple of days or weeks (garage, shed, barn protected from predators)? The swans do not necessarily need bathing water during this time, only drinking water and food (food very close to the pan of water for eating as the swans need water to eat) and some straw to nest. This indoor housing would be the only way to ensure that the swans can safely make it through the winter from predation or drowning unless a large pocket of water remains unfrozen. The Regal Swan
