In Response To: Swan sitting on eggs 2 months after first sighting (Tina)

We have swans, we have watched hatch eggs for 15+ years. We saw the first sighting of eggs on may 8th; there were six eggs. Its now over two months later and we only have 3 eggs. I know if something happens to the first set, that she lays a new set. I've also seen she won't sit on the eggs if they are not alive but isn't this a very long time? She is still sitting on them, gets up and rolls them with her beak. Just concerned it has never ever been this long of a waiting time. Could the eggs not be viable? Is there anything I should do or someone to call about this? I have pictures from may 18th to now. I don't know how to attach multiple pictures but the picture attached is the 3 present eggs. I have pictures from the 18th that show 6 eggs and then in June there shows 4 eggs and now 3 but figured I would attach the latest. any help woud be appreciated
