We have a swan nest on our dock for the second year. There were 6 eggs and 1 hatched but did not survive(we think the male may have killed it). Then we noticed another egg opened and there was a yelllowy yolk.
4 eggs remain and now the female has moved the eggs over slightly and built another nest. She is sitting on them with the male close by. We are concerned-last year the eggs hatched sooner. What should we do? Remove nest?
