In Response To: swan eggs put out of nest (kimberly frost)

We have a nest with 5 eggs in Millersville University in PA. The parents are on an island in the pond. However, today 2 of the eggs are outside the nest. From post I have read, it appears that Mother knows best, and does this mean there is a problem with the eggs? We are all so sad.
