Barbara, You need to place the blanket over the swan and try to capture it. Try to be as gentle as possible and make sure you don't block it's breathing. Get it to the rehabber ASAP. If you do not intervene, the swan will die. It probably needs antibiotics, and supportive care such as an i.v. with necessary fluids. The Regal Swan
