The good thing is I am committed to his care and bonding with him. I spend a lot of time trying to do this. I haven't tried "petting" him yet, as I've been wanting him to learn that when he's near me that I'm not going to upset him.... but I may have to start trying to do that, though he is wearing when I try to get THAT close.
We are about an hour for PENN which is a top Vet School. I may reach out to them today. That's an excellent idea. I'm trying to convince the hotel to have their new cygnets pinioned and sexed now (they have a vet and their only 2 days old) because we will be getting on in September and I don't want to go through this again. I have the feeling they just don't want to spend the money but maybe the University can help there too!
I'll keep you posted!
THANK YOU!
(Conrad is chasing away a squirrel as I type) :)
