In Response To: Trumpeter Swans in Winter (Ed)

We have been raising Trumpeters for about 10 yrs. Currently we have our 8 yr old breeder pair and 3 babies that will be 3 in the spring. We are going to retire and will be spending winters in Florida and only summers on our farm so there is no one to care for the birds over coming winters. How do we go about finding a good home for our birds? I have watched for wanted ads for the last year and never see anyone wanting trumpeters. Our birds are pinioned, quite tame and live on a half acre fenced in pond. Have many ducks sharing the pond with them.
