We operate a park in the st. Louis, Missouri area. We are about to purchase two swans(male/female) to place on our 6 acre man made circular lake. The entire lake area is fenced (chain link to keep the public out.

Are there any special fencing/pen needs for the swans or will they stay inside the fenced area naturally?

Also should we build them a shelter of some type for the winter and if so what type?
