I found my female swan dead Sunday morning. She was laying in shallow water in a sleeping position. No signs of trama. She is supposed to be 3 years old. I have had her since March. I have a male swan that accepted her with no problems. I have a small lake with quite a bit of wildlife around including an abundance of geese coming and going. What could be the possible causes of death?
