In Response To: One swan parent killed (Inge)

On the 4th of June 2016, in The Hague, The Netherlands, the mother swan was killed by a car on a parking lot nearby a field hockey club. The father swan and three little baby swans were standing by when a cyclist found them. So sad.

What happens to this swan family without the mother swan? This question keeps haunting me as I know that swans are partners for life. I feel so sad about this.

The local papers wrote about it and it was posted on Facebook; the police is looking for links to the driver who killed the swan.

Looking forward to hearing from you, even if it is for my own information.
