You are probably not going to be that successful in hatching and we would advise that novices not try to incubate. First, you have the possibility of the eggs getting too hot or not warm enough. There is very limited knowledge regarding the incubation temperature of a swan egg and they must also be rotated a 1/4 of a turn every so many hours. It gets complicated and a professional breeder with a rotating incubator has slightly more probability of actually seeing the eggs hatch.

If the eggs explode, which can happen, the smell and mess is extraordinary and you will have a major clean-up in the house. Finally, if the eggs were to hatch, you are not a mother swan and the swans may imprint on you which is not a good thing. In this case, we would say let nature take its course and not do anything but throw the eggs back into the pond so you do not attract other nuisance wildlife around your house such as foxes and raccoons.

Yes, swans will pitch eggs from the nest and will carry them quite a distance from the nest so that other wildlife cannot find the nest and remaining eggs.
