In Response To: Nest effected by high tide/storm (Karen)

Hello! Swans built their nest too low (I knew it was!). The recent storm destroyed the nest, and the eggs are scattered close by (but did not wash away). The mom & dad are still watching over them, but not sitting on them and did not move them to be together. I am so sad! Will they/can they move to a better spot/rebuild? They did hiss at me, so they are still protecting. I am very sad as last year, just before swan eggs were ready to hatch, a storm destroyed the nest and the eggs were gone! I cannot see that happen again. Please tell me what you think. Thank you!!!!!!!!! Karen
