I have a male cygnet. He is about 3 months old. I have several ducks that live on our lake that our house is on. When they see me out in the yard they all come running. Each day when I take the swan out to his pen he peeps and peeps at them till they come over to his pen and then they eat right outside of his little pen. He eats inside of it. Some of the ducks come and lay next to his pen during the day. He has no adult feathers yet. His wings are pinioned. He seems to want out of his pen so badly to get on the lake. What age is it safe to let him on the lake for the first time?
