Hi Allen:
We are going to defer to Bob Knox on this one as he has more experience regarding cygnets in indoor facilities. Most of our consultations involve swans in pens that are entirely enclosed with a water feature inside. Normally, warm weather swans are kept differently during nesting than swans in extremely cold inclement weather as the pens are chain linked or bull panel enclosed top to bottom. Using barns as nesting sites with limited water features, can be a problem for cleaning and introduction of the cygnets to water. Bob would have much more knowledge in this area as he has indoor pens for his swans. The Regal Swan
