Hi, There is a nesting swan on a small mid river island near us. I think there may be at least a week or more to go to hatching. The weather forecast for the next few days is for heavy rain and my fear for the swan is that the river will rise to a point where the eggs will be covered by flood water. If this becomes a danger will the swan move the eggs or will it be just bad luck? Look forward to your reply and hoping the swans will be able to deal with such a scenario.
Thanks
Michael
