In Response To: Black swans sleeping at night (Allen)

I build a 4 feet by 8 feet barn for my two black swans. They learned to go in at night. However, after I close their door they walk in dark and run into their water container. I installed a small light, that stays on all night. I need to know if this is a good idea or will the light disturb their sleep.

Also I installed a camera inside to monitor their activities at night. They always sleep right next to the door instead of using the entire space. What may be the reason.
