Our veterinarians who are the foremost swan veterinarians in the U.S. charge nominal fees for their services. However, if there is surgery, lab tests, biopsies anesthesia, extended care, etc., the costs can significantly increase to $800 or more. We have also heard of vets that have limited experience or knowledge treating swans and raising their prices to discourage people from bringing a swan to them.
