Lettuce is an acquired taste for some swans. You might try iceberg lettuce. Try to pull the greenery away from the stems and offer only the leafy parts to see if that might entice him to eat the lettuce. If he is getting enough aquatic vegetation or eating grass, this green supplement may not be needed. Glad to know that he looks out for the other two swans before entering the area. The Regal Swan
