In Response To: Single White Swan in pound that has not iced over yet (Signe)

I have a concern about a single juvenile swan that recently appeared at a nearby pond just a few miles off of our property. We've observed the swan for the last 6 weeks. And most recently winter weather set in. The young swan continues to stay at the same location, finding an area where the pond has not iced over. Will a single swan migrate? Or should we contact our local DNR?
