Hi Swan Lover:

Beak color signifies age and species of swan. If the beaks are orange, then these are the Mute Swans. Black beaks are the coloration for Trumpeter and Tundra Swans. If the swan has a yellow lore (space between the black beak and the eye), then it is a Tundra Swan. If the beak is grayish in color, it means that the swan is a juvenile and the beak has not turned its adult color. The Regal Swan
