In Response To: Cygnet swan leg defect, athropy, sling for cygnet (Robin)

We recently purchased 2 swans supposedly 8 weeks old (more like 4 weeks) and one had a birth defect. We could not bring ourselves to send if back (THEY'D DESTROY IT) SO A VERY GOOD VET HELPED US OUT AND PUT A PIN AND SUTURES IN TO PUT TENDON BACK IN PLACE. Now the leg is corrected but athropy is the next battle. Has anyone there made a sling for a cygnet swan to help develop the muscles in its leg ? Any thoughts would be appreciated .
