In Response To: how to capture lake swan when nesting (gary schaefer)

I have two mute swans that have breed and delivered their young last year. However, as they matured they have all left our lake. I am aware of pinioning and wish to do so when they deliver next spring. The question is how to confine the swan, who tends to nest on a penisula of the lake beneathe some pine trees so that their young's wings can be clipped. Thank you for your considation of this question.
