** UPDATE**

I want to thank you for your quick and detailed response to my question regarding my 2 Male Mute Swans fighting. I am so HAPPY to report things are back to normal. I placed the submissive Swan (after staying in my garage for 2 weeks) in a huge Kennel. I placed him next to the lake. I was unable to submerge it 1/2 & 1/2 due to the bank. At first, the Swan in the Kennel was freaked out when the aggressive male came out of the water in a very aggressive posture and kept circiling the kennel. I stayed close to monitor the situation. After about 30 minutes of posturing they settled down and both tucked their heads under their wings and fell asleep in the sun one in the kennel and one next to the kennel. We did the same thing the next day. We held our breath and opened the kennel door and let the other come out on his own time. It took him about 10 minutes and he walked out and then did a 100 yard dash to the water. The other Swan plopped in the water and again I held my breath. They swam to each other and wrapped their necks together and made all kinds of noises. What a beautiful sight!!! Again, thank you for your help!!
