PS: in case it says anything about pain, he "stands up" and flips his wings spread in the air like geese do (unprovoked). Of course, he can't stretch one out all the way. (I'm just hanging on to any thread of hope he is not in horrible pain and I'm trying to find him a vet who will not euthanize him just for not being able to fly, if everything else is ok).
