Ask the Swan Specialist

In Response To: lone swan (barbara santarelli)

We live in Purdys New York and enjoy the hundreds of swans that live in the waters off the titicus reservoir and muscoot. We noticed a single swan on the opposite side of route 684 in a small remote, natural pond or lake. We find it odd that he is alone. Yesterday it seemed to us he was lying with neck-head down on a partially frozen portion We can not access to see if he is alive but find the site so sad and concerning.. Anything to do but just assume nature has taken its; course
