In Response To: Re: eggs (The Regal Swan)

Hi Amanda:

Swan eggs are extremely difficult to incubate and you probably will have little success unless you have a professional type incubator with adjustable humidity, rotation, heat, etc. capabilities. Most individuals end with the eggs explodiing into a big mess which also damages the incubator. We are not sure exactly what the humidity or temperature of the egg is during the incubation phase. You may need to go online and see if you can find this information. We as a research team tried to incubate the eggs and had very little success even after controlling temperature, gauging humidity level and rotation. The Regal Swan
