In Response To: Swan and a Canadian goose (Bonnie)

Recently we noticed on our pond the one of the adult swans is missing. We have also noticed that the remaining swan is now inseparable from a Canadian goose. The pair of swans used to chase off the geese but now seem to have become mates? Is this common?
