We had a female swan in a pond across the street; she was there for 2 weeks and we have seen 3 little babies with her. Last night she flew away and have not seen the babies, they are dark in color from a distance they look like little ducks. Is unusual to see a swan in the mid-west. She was alone. Would she come back if her babies are still alive and would she have left because they are gone? They have been other ducks and geese in the pond that we have seen her chase away. Will she come back?
