There is an issue surrounding swans that has been baffling my friends and I for quite some time. And I am hoping you can help. When we go past an agricultural field there are up to 30 swans sitting in it and feeding on the produce. However there is a lake only 100 metres from where they are. Why would they choose to sit on the field rather than the lake??
