Black Swans do not do well in cold weather. We also do not know of anyone who might want your swan in Connecticut. We did ask Bob Knox at Knox Swan and Dog in Illinois if he would give your swan a good home and he said he would be glad to take it. Bob has many species of swans including Black Swans. He keeps them infloors in the winter. The indoor pens have heated water features so this would be a ideal setting. If you ard interested in this option, you can contact him at 847 875 3947.
