wondering what would cause hemorage bleeding behind the beak and the chest cavity wall.Live near a pond with a pair of mutes as residents.Last year 3 of them died out on the pond at the age of about 5 months, and 1 adult. because they are not "native" authorities didnt care. this year just the other day 2 juveniles showed up dead,I went out and got them and really insisted on them being checked out. They took one to a wild life vet to do a prelimenary, to see if it had been shot, and no it hadnt been, but he found internal bleeding behind the beak and chest wall said it was blunt force trama. If this were caused by a person how could they get close enough, and with what could they have used to do this? Or is this some type of bacteria or parasite that caused this? A pair of swans has lived on this pond for 40 years and this has never happened before. Truly thankful for any help.
