Hi Steve:

This is mating/nesting season. Hormone levels as well as wariness of protecting nests and young can alter normal daily behavior. More than likely, the swan has one of these issues occurring and should diminish within the next couple of weeks. Please let us know how this situation progresses. The Regal Swan
