Ask the Swan Specialist

In Response To: A lone swan (Amber)

5 days ago I saw a swan at a pond near my house by it's self. This pond has never had swans, just canadian geese and ducks, sometimes an egret. It lets me get really close to take pictures but it does warn me (Im good with approaching wild animals) I wait for it to relax before I get closer, he doesn't appear to be hurt, he's swimming, resting, and eating but I was wondering why he would be here so randomly and by himself, he's been here for five days.
