Are there any reasons that the swan would be unsafe in this pond such as predators that the swan could not escape, no food, shelter or other requirements that would necessitate the swan leaving, high rise buidings, overhead electrical power lines or roadways in the immediate area? If any of these issues are concerns and the swan does not have at least 300 feet to take off, then rescue may be needed.
