In Response To: Re: Photo #1: Question regarding a Canada goose with a broken wing (Jim)

Hi I dont know how old this thread is but I wanted to leave a message because I'm kinda in the same situation. I have captured 3 geese by myself before using food and a blanket it works great! I keep a large box near by to put them in. be honest all the were put down. which was very hard for me. I captured the geese in the winter I'm in minnesota. ok now my deal I started looking online because i wanted alternative to a wildlife rescue because the goose doesn't seem unhappy or suffering. him or her and its partner are kept at bay! I just feel bad because if I get the injured one what will happen to the mate? idk I'm just torn what to do? maybe just let nature take its course? I've seen it fend off cyotes. my only concern is the water freezes over fast and it gets cold. when it reaches January all
