A pair of adult mute swans live on our lake each summer. This summer one of the babies was somehow injured. It's the time of year the parents teach the babies to fly. The injured one at first, triee but can not get off the water. I've noticied now it's not even trying. Soon the others will be chased off the lake and the parents will fly south. If the baby does not leave, how can I help it survive the winter?
