In Response To: Care of a Mother swan while nesting??? (Mark)

I am aware of a swan nest...the eggs in years previous were taken by predators...this year to safe guard the eggs a fence has been put there t protect the egss!! The mother stays in the fenced in area...does she need to get into the water for her skin and feather care??
